That is a great suggestion - right now we do not have that feature available via the API, however, we will definitely consider adding it to a future release.
As of now we do not have a time line on this feature request. We are aware of it, and will consider adding this with one of our next API releases, which have not yet been scheduled.
Great Api, unfortunately you have to be precise on the company name, some wild card, substring ,or fuzzy search would be a great feature.

I have to agree with the other posters, a fuzzy or wildcard search would be great.
